Community Living Supports meet individuals where they are—in their own home or their family’s home. CLS is a flexible service that provides one‐on‐one, tailored assistance to help individuals build the skills necessary to live successfully and independently in the community. Whether learning to cook a favorite meal, managing a budget, navigating public transportation, or developing social skills to foster friendships, our staff work side by side with each person.
CLS is NOT about doing for someone. Rather it is about teaching and empowering the person to do for themselves. Our goal is to foster confidence and competence so that a person can thrive in their community.
Our CL program begins with each person’s existing capabilities, aspirations, and life context. Rather than implementing standardized interventions, we conduct comprehensive assessments to understand current strengths, environmental supports, and specific goals. This person‐centered foundation ensures that skill‐building efforts are relevant, meaningful, and aligned with the individual’s vision for their life.
CL also supports individuals transitioning from group homes or family homes to independent living arrangements. All transitions are informed by comprehensive assessment to ensure the individual possesses the skills, motivation, and environmental supports necessary for success in a self‐directed living arrangement.
CLS is not 24‐hour care, nor is it a companion service. It is a structured, skill‐building partnership focused on increasing independence and community inclusion.

Your gift provides the support, opportunities, and community people need to live full, independent lives.
