Community Services

Community services are provided within the group home and also for clients who are currently living in the community or with family.
These services include:

Developmental Therapy Services (DT)
One-on-one training for individuals to assist them with obtaining the skills necessary to integrate successfully into the community.

Community Alternative Programs (CAP)
A program providing assistance to individuals to maintain placement in their homes that might otherwise be at risk for institutionalize placement. The CAP programs offer a myriad of services including but not limited to goal training in areas of daily living, assistance with personal care tasks and respite care.

Respite Care
A service that provides the opportunity for care givers of individuals with Disabilities the opportunity to receive a “break” from that care.

Advocacy
Represent and facilitate actions on behalf of individuals with disabilities and their families.

Adaptive Equipment
Assess, acquire and advocate for equipment necessary to increase independence and improve overall quality of life.

Recreation Therapy
Assess, plan, implement and evaluate recreation and leisure activities for individuals with disabilities.
